The Acid Reflux Hiatal Hernia Connection

Smoking is a trigger also because it causes a variety of detrimental effects, including weakening the lower esophageal sphincter muscle. Acid reflux is only one of many health reasons to give up cigarettes for good. Staying hydrated with non-carbonated beverages can help keep acid down.
